It has become sort of a family tradition to go to Dewey's Pizza on your Birthday.  They give you a free glass, which only sweetens the deal.  Of course it helps that their pizza is amazing.

Welcome to my year in review! Thank you for supporting, pushing and encouraging my latest project. I know there will be days when I need an extra little shove, and who better to do it then all of you?

Tomorrow begins the start of two very important things.
1) the start of my 28th year in this life time
2) the start of my newest project

I'm counting on all of you to hold me accountable for doing this and keeping up with it. While I may not get to post every single day, I will take at least one picture each day. Which will be posted under that date. For instance, I know for a fact that I will not have time to take a picture, edit it, and post it tomorrow. But I also know that I can at least take a picture tomorrow. My goal is to obviously get them posted as soon as possible, but to take no longer then a week to share them with you.

I'm also considering having weekly themes. One week may be strait out of the camera, absolutely no editing. But guess what. My camera does all kinds of awesome effects that might make you think I cheated and edited it. Perhaps one week will be just for playing with those features. Also, since it is a new camera, perhaps one theme will be to use a new feature of my camera every day. Heck, I could probably do a whole year on that alone.

So what do I hope to achieve with this project?
1) get back in the habit of taking pictures
2) further my skills
3) push myself creatively
4) train myself to take a great picture when I'm not in the mood
5) expand my knowledge of the capabilities of my camera and photoshop
6) I'm sure there are more, I just can't think of them right now

Anyway, thanks again for joining me on this journey. I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I'm sure I will. Make sure you pay special attention in August and September!
